British Airways Staff Lounge Renovation, OR Tambo International Airport

When ACSA needed more airside space at their departure gates, The British Airways staff lounge was made smaller. With the structural changes needed to achieve this, the entire lounge area wes redesigned as a pause area with training room, debriefing room and e-learning centre.

The lounge is used by the staff of both British Airways and Kulula and therefore we decided to use both companies' corporate colours in the space. The Wanabiwood vinyl floors are very well suited for high traffic areas and easy to clean. In the training and debriefing rooms as well as the e-learning centres, carpet was used to help with the acoustics in these rooms.
