Proposed Offices for the Department of Communication

The facility was designed as part of the Pretoria Inner City project. The main aim of the project was to group together the various government departments currently spread throughout the city. The chosen site for this department is unused land to the west of the Union Buildings.

The facility was split into three office blocks with various heights to fit in with the slope of the site, with a total floor area of 13 600m², split between offices and meeting rooms. The historical tram line route splits the site roughly in two. To acknowledge this, it was utilized as the main circulation route between the office blocks.
