Italtile Menlyn Coffee Shop

We designed the original building which was inspired by Roman architecture. A tubular steel gazebo stands in the grounds and was designed as a pause area for customers.

In 2016 we were requested to design a coffee shop addition to the showroom. The garden gazebo was used as inspiration. The coffee shop is constructed out of tubular steel and glass and a copper sheet roof. It is located next to the main showroom with a concrete slab linking the two buildings.

The structure was shortlisted in the Tubular Steel category of the 2017 Steel Awards.
