House Mathey Kitchen Revamp

The existing kitchen was stripped and replaced with a modern kitchen with ample storage and work surfaces and all new appliances. The coffee machine and the microwave oven were built into the cupboard to free up counter space.

The client's favourite colour is red, but because all her freestanding appliances are red, we decided to keep the kitchen white with only red accent strip handles. The artwork against the one wall was done by the client and covered with a Perspex sheet to protect it.

A new tile floor was installed on top of the existing tiles, which enabled the provision of services to the new island. Besides a prep bowl, the island has two pop-up powerdocks, a worktop bin and storage on both sides.
