OUR PORTFOLIO

Working to protect the environment through energy efficient designs

CENTURY SKYE APARTMENTS

To optimize the layout on the site, each block was designed with north and south facing apartments and a central covered corridor. Roof lights allow natural light into the corridors. The layout of each block is unique and consist of combinations of 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments.

HOUSE SWART

A house with a unique thatch roof design, to allow maximum daylight into all the rooms, was built on a game farm in the bushveld. The house is orientated due north with large windows to connect interior and exterior spaces.

HOUSE VAN DYK

The site overlooks the Mooikloof Valley towards the east. The house is designed due north to let the winter sun in but the roof overhangs excludes the summer sun. The curved roof design reduces and softens the internal volumes.

FAMILY HOUSE

This large family home was designed on the eastern side of the Magaliesberg mountain range in Rustenburg. The fact that the main view was to the east resulted in the U-shape plan and special design solutions to keep the western sun out of the living areas.

HOTEL IN CENTURION

The corner site at the intersection of Lenchen Avenue North and John Vorster drive, posed some unique design challenges for us to design a hotel to satisfy the client’s brief.
