The clients brief was to design a facility to house the athletic club administrators as well as an entertainment area for guests during athletic meetings.

The building is situated at the end of the 100 m straight and the challenge in the design was to integrate the Club house with the existing pavilion. The entertainment area is situated on the upper level to provide an excellent view of the track and the offices and meeting room is on the ground level and doubles as registration point for the athletes during meetings.

Extensive use of off-shutter concrete and structural steel created a low maintenance structure. The windows on the northern façade were installed at an angle to prevent distracting reflections when the athletes compete.
