THE PROJECT: BRITISH AIRWAYS STAFF LOUNGE
When ACSA needed more airside space at their departure gates, the British Airways’ staff lounge was made smaller. With the structural changes needed to achieve this, the entire lounge area was redesigned as a pause area, training room and debriefing room. The lounge is used by the staff of both British Airways and Kulula and therefore we decided to use both companies’ corporate colours in the space. Wanabiwood vinyl floors were installed, suitable for high traffic and easy to clean.
