BRITISH AIRWAYS STAFF LOUNGE
When ACSA needed more airside space at their departure gates, the British Airways’ staff lounge was made smaller. Wannabiwood vinyl floors were installed, suitable for high traffic and easy to clean.
HOUSE MATHEY KITCHEN
The existing kitchen was stripped and replaced with a modern kitchen with ample storage and work surfaces and all new appliances. The coffee machine and the microwave were built into the cupboard to free up counter space.
ORLANDO STADIUM PRODUCT DESIGN
We were required to design functional desks for sports reporters covering matches, where they can compile their articles. Our interior designer adapted a timber decking system to create the desks.
RECEPTION COUNTERS
First impressions are important for any company. The reception desk where clients are first greeted should, therefor, be fit for purpose and reflect the corporate identity of the company.
SASOL C3 OFFICES
We refurbished a disused industrial testing laboratory, with a combination of brick and sheet metal cladded walls, to create office space and meeting rooms to comply with strict thermal and acoustic requirements because of the noisy industrial environment.
SASOL PP2 CONTROL ROOM FURNITURE
The control desk was designed for a technical and electronic control room to accommodate all equipment with provision for all the cables inside the framework with removable panels for maintenance.
U.P MAMELODI CAMPUS CAFETERIA
WMS Architects was requested to upgrade the U.P Mamelodi campus cafeteria. We designed a new serving counter and brightly coloured chairs and new tables.
SAEF AUDITORIUM
The client requested that we refurbish their existing auditorium. They asked for an updated look and improved acoustics. We incorporated the red and blue colour scheme from their logo.
COMAIR SIMULATOR A3 CAFETERIA
The pilots in training need to rest and refresh in between training sessions, therefor we designed a cafeteria on the first floor with a view to one of the simulators.
HOUSE VAN DER MERWE KITCHEN
We were approached by a client to renovate her 1980’s closed-off townhouse kitchen. The brief was to design an open plan, Scandinavian style kitchen, to suit the rest of the main floor’s light oak and white design scheme.
