The Practice
The firm has its roots in the memorable decade of the 60’s when the older members completed their studies. On the other hand the youngest appointed architect completed his studies in March 2009. This gives the team a broad base of past and present academic exposure spanning over 45 years.
Wim Swart - BArch and SACAP Reg
Wim has been a registered architect with SACAP since 1967. He was awarded with the prize for the most energy effective building and best-integrated architectural-engineering design in 1987 for Hatfield Christian Church Pta. Other projects include Dar Es Salaam Stadium, Comair Simulator Kemptonpark and Hatfield Gardens Office Complex, Pretoria.
Ivan de la Rey - BSc (Bouk)
Ivan completed post graduate studies in project management at the University of Pretoria following his degree in 1973. Obtained a certificate in Project Leadership, Management and Communication from George Washington University. Primary involvement in industrial and commercial buildings. Vista University, Pretoria.
André Monni - SACAP Reg
Even before starting his studies at UP in 1966 André worked part time as a draughtsman and has gained broad experience in all types of buildings. He specialized in hospitals, educational facilities and commercial buildings, ie Kalafong Hospital and various CTM Warehouses.
Pieter van der Walt - BArch and SACAP Reg
Pieter graduated from the University of Pretoria in 1987. During his early years of employment, he was sent by the Department of Public Works to do detail analysis on government owned buildings in New York. He has been self-employed for the past 12 years and has a wide range of experience from residential to commercial & industrial.
Jean Gové - MArch Prof SACAP Reg
Jean graduated from the University of Pretoria in 2004. He has experience on a variety of projects.
Etienne Hutten - MArch (Prof) PR Arch & MI Arch SACAP Reg 20876.
Etienne graduated from the University of Pretoria in 2005. He has been responsible for the design, co-ordination work, project management and supervision on large multi-disciplinary projects. He is an experienced architect and has designed and manage a variety of small and large scale projects.
Lourens du Preez
Lourens graduated from the University of the Free State in 1993. He has experience in industrial retail and offices as well as a variety of other projects.
Jan Meijer - BArch and SACAP Reg
Jan graduated from the University of Pretoria in 1972. He has 38 years experience in the implementation of building projects which include commercial, industrial and residential developments.
Calvyn le Roux - MArch Prof
Calvyn graduated from the University of Pretoria in 2008. He has worked on a variety of projects ranging from commercial, residential and industrial.
Cas Badenhorst - SACAP Reg and SIAT Reg
Cas has a National Diploma in Architectural Draftsmanship. He has 38 years experience. He has experience in office buildings, banks and project management.
Hermien Klopper - Bint (UP)
Hermien has 13 years of drafting, project management and interior design experience. She focused on private houses and offices.
Gerda Bradley
Gerda has developed as a competent draughts person through years of practical on hands training. She has completed various short term training programmes. Worked on Medunsa Medical University, Vista University, Garankuwa Hospital and various CTM Warehouses.
Werner van der Watt - MArch Prof
Werner graduated from the University of Pretoria in 2009. He has worked on a variety of commercial and industrial projects.
